Strategic Financial Analyst - Corporate Strategy & Development (SaaS)

Location: Office location or remote work in the USA

Base salary: $128,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as a financial partner to the CEO and executive leadership on market expansion, competitive positioning, and long-range planning.
• Lead M&A analysis, including target screening, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence support, and post-close integration tracking.
• Build market sizing frameworks and investment theses for new products and R&D allocation.
• Develop pricing strategy analytics covering monetization, price elasticity, packaging, and margin impact across the SaaS portfolio.
• Build financial models for go-to-market decisions, including LTV, CAC, payback periods, cohort analysis, IRR, NPV, and scenario-weighted returns.
• Support budgeting, reforecasting, variance analysis, board and private equity reporting, acquisition integration, and FP&A process improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA for office or remote work.
• Seven or more years of progressive experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Strategy, or a related field.
• Expertise in financial modeling, including LBO, DCF, accretion/dilution, SaaS metrics, and scenario analysis.
• Strong understanding of ARR, NRR, churn, LTV/CAC, Rule of 40, unit economics, and SaaS business models.
• Strong communication, executive presence, attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience at a private equity-owned or PE-backed company.
• Public accounting or investment banking experience.

• Experience with BI or analytics platforms.
