Field Reimbursement Manager (Immunology)

Location: Field-based territory covering Roanoke, Virginia; Charleston and Morgantown, West Virginia; and Ashland, Kentucky. Permanent residence in the listed territory is required.

Base pay: $102,000–$177,100 annually.

What you will do

• Educate healthcare providers and office staff on product coverage, prior authorizations, appeals, reimbursement processes, claims submissions, coding, and payer requirements.
• Provide field-based reimbursement and access support for immunology therapies, resolving patient access and affordability issues.
• Build trusted relationships with customers across assigned Immunology accounts and serve as the local reimbursement subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with sales, key account management, managed care, marketing, medical science, and other internal teams.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, account planning, and knowledge of local, regional, and national payer dynamics.
• Support understanding of hub and specialty distribution channels and adapt resources to changing healthcare ecosystem needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare or business/public administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, revenue cycle, or provider-office settings.
• Expertise with pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, and appeals.
• Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, influence across a matrix organization, and solve complex access scenarios.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license, compliant driving record, and ability to travel up to 50%, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Permanent residence in the listed territory is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with patient support HUB services or Immunology disease states.
• Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, and pharmaceutical reimbursement policies.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Interest in applying emerging technologies, including AI, to professional work.
