Manager, Accounting (FinTech, AI)

Location: Hybrid in Atlanta, Georgia; onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The office is expected to transition from Paces Ferry to Atlantic Station, with timing to be determined.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close operations under US GAAP, including journal entry review, reconciliations, consolidation, foreign currency remeasurement and translation, and allocations.
• Manage, mentor, and develop Senior and Staff Accountants through onboarding, technical training, goal-setting, and ongoing coaching.
• Review flux and variance analyses, prepare commentary for senior management, and contribute to Controller reporting decks.
• Support SEC filings, including 10-K and 10-Q financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain SOX Section 404 key controls and partner with Internal Audit on control updates.
• Lead close, consolidation, reporting, and AI-enabled accounting workflow improvements in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3–5+ years in a publicly traded, SEC-reporting environment.
• At least 3 years of direct people management experience and 3 years of SOX 404 compliance experience, including ICFR design, RCM ownership, and external auditor management.
• Experience supporting 10-K and 10-Q filings and accelerated filing deadlines.
• Experience with a large ERP such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or a similar platform; advanced Excel proficiency.
• CPA required; integrity in handling MNPI and public company disclosure obligations is essential.
