Manager, Property Accounting

Location: Dallas, TX, United States. Applicants must have U.S. work authorization that does not require current or future company sponsorship and must meet applicable U.S. export-control access requirements.

Base salary: $115,000–$153,000 per year, plus eligible bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the fixed asset register, including asset master data, asset classes, useful lives, componentization, and in-service tie-outs.
• Run and review monthly depreciation and reconcile the fixed asset subledger and accumulated depreciation accounts to the general ledger.
• Account for transfers, retirements, disposals, replacements, leased fit-out assets, self-development assets, impairments, and abandonments.
• Establish retirement and replacement processes for infrastructure assets and maintain accurate net book values.
• Prepare fixed asset and depreciation schedules for financial reporting and SEC support, explaining activity against budget and forecast.
• Partner with project accounting, leasing, tax, operations, corporate accounting, reporting, and financial planning teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of accounting experience with a strong background in fixed asset or property accounting.
• End-to-end ownership of a fixed asset subledger and month-end close, including depreciation, transfers, retirements, disposals, and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance, including control documentation and external audit support.
• ERP experience is required; NetSuite, fixed asset or asset management modules, and close and controls software are advantageous.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with non-accounting teams and manage ambiguity, priorities, and deadlines.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future company sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Fixed asset or property accounting experience in data centers or comparable capital-intensive infrastructure.
• Experience establishing retirement, replacement, and componentization processes for a large asset base.
• Big Four public accounting experience, CPA or CMA certification, and experience using AI tools.
