Accounting Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York City (On-site)

Salary: $80,000 – $120,000

What you will do

• Own the month-end close cycle for US and international entities, establishing a documented runbook.
• Coordinate with local accounting providers to ensure accurate entity-level books and statutory filings.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and fixed asset registers.
• Oversee intercompany billing, settlement, and transfer pricing entries.
• Supervise the outsourced AP specialist, including vendor compliance, coding review, and payment controls.
• Support external audits by preparing reconciliations and walkthrough documentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York City for this on-site role.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and familiarity with local statutory frameworks.
• Strong reconciliation discipline and experience supporting external audits.
• Proficiency with modern ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• CPA certification is preferred.
