WI Maintenance Mechanic Journeyperson

Location: Schofield, Wisconsin, United States. Full-time, onsite position in a manufacturing environment.

What you will do

• Perform maintenance mechanic work in a production environment.
• Work with tools, equipment, operating machinery, and mechanical parts.
• Move through production areas and complete tasks involving bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and positioning.
• Handle, grip, manipulate, lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Follow safety procedures while working around forklifts, cranes, vibration, airborne particles, and varying noise levels.

Requirements

• Ability to remain standing or stationary for prolonged periods.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform repetitive handling and production-area work.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, or position objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work safely around operating machinery, moving mechanical parts, forklifts, and cranes.
• Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety-toed footwear, is required.
