Field Service Representative (Turbomachinery)

Location: Remote, but qualified applicants must reside in Minnesota or Missouri to support the local customer base; customer-site and field work required.

Salary: $72,360–$108,540 per year; additional compensation packages may include $65,000–$85,000 excluding overtime.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, inspect, commission, and troubleshoot turbomachinery and package systems at customer locations.
• Use test equipment, schematics, technical diagrams, gauges, instruments, and digital systems to diagnose malfunctions.
• Analyze, repair, or replace faulty mechanical parts under the guidance of experienced field service personnel or a supervisor.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, routine installations, and equipment adjustments.
• Provide call-out services and direct or indirect customer support.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience desired.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance for power supply equipment and oil-and-gas systems.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers and automated process controls.
• Pass a Department of Transportation drug screen and physical fitness evaluation.
• Maintain a clean driving record and be able to obtain a legal Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
