Field Service Engineer (Industrial Equipment)

Location: Remote within the USA, focused on Georgia, South Carolina, and surrounding areas; frequent customer-site travel required, with approximately 90% travel and occasional international travel.

What you will do

• Install, commission, configure, maintain, inspect, and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software-related issues.
• Respond to service calls, resolve customer support requests, and minimize equipment downtime.
• Document service activities, maintenance records, and repair reports.
• Train customers and end users on equipment operation and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with engineering, technical support, and sales teams on complex issues and equipment improvements.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, or a military equivalent.
• 2+ years of field service, maintenance, or technical support experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management systems.
• Valid driver's license, ability to travel extensively, and ability to work in industrial environments, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Industrial technology or related experience.
