Senior Field Service Engineer (3D Printing)

Location: Remote role based out of a home office in Michigan, preferably within driving distance of Detroit Metropolitan Airport; frequent travel required. The role involves onsite customer visits and 75–90% travel, including international travel.

Salary: $82,800–$124,200 per year in Michigan, with a midpoint of $103,500.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade equipment at customer sites.
• Train customers on product usage and care.
• Develop processes and documentation for standard service actions.
• Identify trends in field failures and communicate feedback to development teams.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to investigate issues and implement countermeasures.
• Provide occasional off-hours support and travel internationally as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on approach with strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong customer service experience.
• Personal car and passport required.
• A BS in an engineering field is preferred but not required.
