Finance Analyst (Manufacturing)

Location: Cramlington, United Kingdom; on-site position with hybrid work arrangement possibility

Salary: GBP 30,590–GBP 48,944 yearly

What you will do

• Provide financial analysis for plant productivity, investigate variances, report losses, and support inventory and capital reporting.
• Support the Annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecasting for manufacturing operations.
• Complete month-end reporting, including loss and inventory adjustments, savings tracking, manpower reporting, and bonus accruals.
• Maintain financial controls and SOX compliance for inventory processes while monitoring cycle count accuracy.
• Identify and implement operations finance improvements in collaboration with shared services and Accenture.
• Support business intelligence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree-level education and a professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA or ICAEW.
• 1–3 years of post-qualification industry experience, preferably in manufacturing, or experience in a blue-chip accounting firm.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Strong communication, time management, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, detail-conscious, assertive, and results-driven approach.
• Ability to work at the Cramlington plant in the United Kingdom, with hybrid flexibility available.
