TL;DR
Finance Analyst (Financial Reporting and Controls): Managing full-cycle financial reporting, forecasting, controls, and compliance for the Ireland entity within an international organisation with an accent on month-end ownership, budgeting, cash flow, and statutory reporting. Focus on analysing financial performance, coordinating audits, managing complex contract accounting, and partnering with operational stakeholders.

What you will do
- Own the month-end close for the Ireland entity, including management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting packs, and Group consolidation submissions.
- Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, cash flow forecasting, working capital monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Maintain financial controls, Group policy compliance, statutory reporting, tax submissions, banking, payments, and cash management.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with external advisers.
- Act as the primary finance partner for operational leaders in Ireland and contribute to regional finance initiatives, process improvements, and transformation projects.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Experience owning the finance cycle for a legal entity, business unit, subsidiary, or standalone operation.
- Strong general ledger knowledge, including journals, accruals, prepayments, intercompany accounting, and reconciliations.
- Experience with external audits, statutory reporting, compliance, financial controls, and governance.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong stakeholder management and business partnering abilities.
Nice to have
- Experience in a multinational or multi-entity environment and exposure to Group reporting and consolidation.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle HFM, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of IFRS 9 and IFRS 16.
- Experience with complex contract accounting and revenue recognition.
