Location: Southbury, Connecticut, USA; onsite position

Salary: $90,000–$95,000 yearly

What you will do

• Coordinate and manage nursing and assisted living staff providing direct resident care.
• Determine daily assignments, recommend staffing levels, and participate in recruiting, selection, and onboarding.
• Conduct resident assessments, support quality assurance activities, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations.
• Order, store, administer, document, and dispose of medications according to applicable regulations.
• Coordinate ancillary services and communicate with families, healthcare agencies, emergency response teams, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers.
• Provide competency training, first aid, and RN on-call coverage while acting in the absence of the SALSA supervisor.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license required.
• At least two years of full-time or equivalent clinical nursing experience, including at least one year in a home health agency or community health program involving care of sick patients at home.
• Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Windows, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, communicate, and perform fine and gross motor activities throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and support residents using proper body mechanics.
