MDU SS&P Delivery Leader (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: San Diego, California, United States. The position involves access to controlled technology under United States export regulations; candidates must be legally authorized to access it before starting.

What you will do

• Represent Strategic Sourcing & Procurement in a cross-functional Module Delivery Unit and act as the sourcing point of contact.
• Lead supplier selection, contracting, NPI, industrialization, and ramp-up into stable high-volume manufacturing.
• Manage supply-chain requirements, risks, deliverables, product introductions, phase-outs, and engineering changes across the product lifecycle.
• Drive design and material readiness, manufacturability, cost targets, documentation release, and production infrastructure readiness.
• Coordinate Project Coordinators, Supplier Quality Engineers, Configuration Leads, suppliers, and internal stakeholders through key product-generation decision gates.
• Manage supplier commercial topics including cost of goods, NRE, OPEX, CAPEX, lead time, and QLTCS roadmaps while resolving multi-tier supply-chain bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Engineering or related degree; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, NPI, sourcing, industrialization, and program management.
• Experience in high-tech, low-volume environments and supplier management through NPI into high-volume manufacturing.
• Proven risk management and senior stakeholder management experience.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, analytical, collaboration, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Fluent professional English and legal authorization to access controlled United States technology are required.
