Principal Software Engineer (Vue)

2HB supports a government cybersecurity intelligence customer by developing mission software for analyzing cyber-threat information.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software across the application stack.
• Develop and sustain mission software that organizes, correlates, and interprets cyber-threat information.
• Build modern web applications and user interfaces using JavaScript and Vue-based technologies.
• Design, query, and maintain relational databases and integrate RESTful services and APIs.
• Diagnose software problems and deliver reliable solutions with limited supervision.
• Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
• Professional software-development experience with Java.
• Experience with JavaScript, Node.js or comparable server-side JavaScript frameworks, and Vue.js, Vuetify, or a comparable modern frontend framework.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, RESTful services and APIs, and Git or comparable source-control systems.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• Twenty years of software-engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required; four additional years of relevant software-engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
