Journeyman Fullstack Engineer (Vue)

Salary: $69,550–$125,725 per year

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, integrate, deploy, and sustain aeronautical systems software.
• Design, troubleshoot, debug, and enhance software programs in a maintenance environment.
• Perform adaptive, corrective, preventive, and perfective software maintenance.
• Conduct requirements analysis, peer reviews, unit testing, and automated testing.
• Identify software and hardware dependencies and capacities.
• Create and maintain system engineering documentation, including diagrams and VDDs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 2+ years of experience or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with software development or integration in cloud, SOA, web-services, or virtualization environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, software development, architecture, and sustainment practices.
• Familiarity with Vue, Node, PostgreSQL, Git or GitLab, AWS, and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance required, with the ability to obtain SCI after hire.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in AWS and other cloud technologies.
• Experience with cloud-based architecture.
