Senior Software Developer (JavaScript)

Location: On-site in Columbia or Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States

Salary: $200,000–$265,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Develop and support mission-critical security applications across the full stack.
• Maintain and enhance eight independent applications using Angular, Vue, Node, and Java.
• Provide application development and production support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Design, code, test, and deploy scalable enterprise applications in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with security experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to maintain security and compliance.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to Agile planning, modernization, and codebase optimization.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 12 years of software development or engineering experience, or 16 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Front-end development experience with JavaScript and experience with MongoDB or another NoSQL database.
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation.
• Ability to work on-site in Columbia or Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, Node, AngularJS, Angular, Vue, or comparable JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Experience with Git, AWS, Agile development, and full software development lifecycle management.
