Fullstack Engineer (Vue/Nuxt.js)

The Wallet & Payments Engineering Web team builds and maintains high-performance web applications and properties used by customers around the globe.

What you will do

• Architect and ship full-stack features across Wallet & Payments web properties, from technical design through production release.
• Build and evolve Node.js backend-for-frontend services connecting server APIs with Vue frontend experiences.
• Write efficient, well-documented, thoroughly tested TypeScript across the stack.
• Lead milestone-based delivery for ambiguous workstreams and turn open-ended requirements into executable plans.
• Apply cryptographic best practices and strengthen frontend security against emerging threat vectors.
• Collaborate with Server, Native, Design, and QA teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience delivering production-grade, customer-facing web software.
• 2+ years of experience building Node.js BFF layers for complex web UIs at scale.
• Advanced production experience with TypeScript, modern JavaScript frameworks, and Vue.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.
• Experience with SSR frameworks such as Nuxt or Next.js, using Vite or Webpack.
• Working knowledge of web security, cryptography, CI/CD, Cypress or Playwright, accessibility standards, and native-to-web integration.

Nice to have

• Experience with iOS or hybrid mobile development.
• Production experience with WebSockets, WebRTC, or WebGL at meaningful scale.
• Experience contributing to a design system meeting WCAG 2.1 AA or higher.
