Risk Engineer Executive (Risk Management)

What you will do

• Serve as the principal technical authority for risk engineering, loss prevention, property protection, operational risk, and resilience strategies.
• Evaluate complex property, casualty, operational, business interruption, manufacturing, infrastructure, catastrophe, and supply chain exposures.
• Advise executive-level clients, producers, account teams, carriers, and underwriting partners on risk mitigation, loss control, insurance outcomes, and resilience.
• Lead technical assessments, engineering reviews, market presentations, renewal strategies, and complex account engagements.
• Research emerging risks and develop methodologies, service offerings, technical resources, and client-facing content.
• Mentor Risk Engineers and other risk professionals while reviewing technical reports and supporting organizational standards.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of risk engineering, loss prevention, operational resilience, property protection, and enterprise risk management.
• Recognized expertise in a specialized discipline such as property engineering, process safety, natural catastrophe management, industrial operations, energy, transportation, healthcare, or manufacturing.
• Advanced consulting, analytical, communication, presentation, relationship-management, and project-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, occupational safety, risk management, industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety, or a related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in risk engineering, property engineering, loss control, safety consulting, insurance risk management, or related technical fields.
• Ability to travel as required for client engagements, industry events, and technical consulting activities.

Nice to have

• PE, CSP, ARM, CPCU, CFPS, ASP, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience supporting large accounts, complex risks, specialized industries, or global operations.
• Recognized internal or external reputation as a risk engineering subject matter expert.
