Senior Dynamics AX / D365 F&O Technical Developer

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; hybrid working arrangement.

Salary: $140,000–$150,000 per annum.

What you will do

• Lead technical architecture and solution design across Dynamics AX and D365 Finance & Operations environments.
• Develop and maintain X++ customizations using extensions, Chain of Command, event handlers, and custom services.
• Design integrations between D365 F&O, external systems, Azure services, and Dynamics 365 CE/CRM.
• Build data entities, OData services, batch jobs, Data Management Framework solutions, SSRS reports, and Electronic Reporting solutions.
• Manage LCS environments, code deployments, release management, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7 years of Dynamics AX / D365 Finance & Operations development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with D365 F&O and Supply Chain Management, including full-lifecycle implementations and upgrades.
• Expert X++ development skills and experience with OData, REST APIs, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Dual-write, data entities, custom services, and DMF.
• Experience with SSRS, SQL performance tuning, Azure DevOps, LCS, release management, automated deployments, and enterprise-scale troubleshooting.
• Hybrid work in Dallas, Texas, United States.

• Dynamics AX 2012 upgrade or migration experience.
• Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Dual-write experience.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations certifications.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or enterprise ERP environments.
