Patient Engagement Specialist I (Healthcare)

Location: Remote - United States; work during Eastern Time (EDT) required.

What you will do

• Review and follow up on inbound requests from patient outreach campaigns.
• Conduct personalized outbound calls using an auto-dialer, making approximately 150–200 calls per day.
• Speak with around 80–100 patients daily and schedule an average of 19 appointments.
• Build trust with patients and caregivers, explain the benefits of in-home services, and encourage appointment scheduling.
• Learn partner care models, answer patient questions, and coordinate with representatives and healthcare professionals.
• Escalate complex questions and concerns to the appropriate teams.

Requirements

• Ability to work Eastern Time (EDT).
• At least two years of outbound call center experience, including at least one year in healthcare.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and other healthcare software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing phone, email, chat, and other communication channels.
• Strong organization, process orientation, problem-solving ability, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with Zendesk.
• Experience with Five9.
• Experience in an on-demand service or healthcare environment.
