HR Technology Senior Analyst (Payroll)

Salary: $94,000–$125,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Serve as the Workday Payroll subject matter expert, providing configuration, production support, enhancements, and optimization.
• Configure and maintain Workday Payroll, Absence, Benefits, and HCM in line with business requirements and regulatory changes.
• Lead Workday releases, feature adoption, regression testing, UAT, parallel payroll testing, and deployment activities.
• Develop and support integrations with payroll, timekeeping, benefits, finance, and third-party systems.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Build reports and audits, document configurations, improve automation, and contribute to the Workday roadmap.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting Workday Payroll in an HR technology, HRIS, or payroll systems role.
• Hands-on Workday Payroll configuration and support experience is required.
• Direct payroll operations experience in both the United States and Canada is required.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Absence, Benefits, HCM, business processes, security, reporting, calculated fields, EIBs, and integrations.
• Experience with payroll compliance, testing, releases, production support, troubleshooting, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience supporting United Kingdom payroll is highly preferred; a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro certification, particularly in Payroll.
• Experience with additional global payroll operations, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, APIs, or Workday Time Tracking.
• Knowledge of sports or experience in a highly regulated industry.
