What you will do
- Work with account sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs and support solution evaluations.
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to technical contributors, executives, prospects, and customers.
- Demonstrate Snowflake technology and communicate its value throughout the sales cycle, from demos and proofs of concept through design and implementation.
- Build technical champions within customer accounts to support deals and achieve technical wins.
- Present current and roadmap functionality while maintaining knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies.
- Collaborate with sales engineers, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and implementation partners on architectures, account strategies, and product improvements.
Requirements
- Experience in sales engineering or solution architecture in a SaaS environment, or relevant experience in analytics, data science, or data engineering.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboard sessions, presentations, and demos.
- Understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
- Hands-on experience with SQL.
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Snowflake solutions.
- Strong written and verbal customer-facing communication skills.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Python.
- Experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, or Git.
- Experience with data science and machine learning technologies.
