Senior Cloud Software Engineer/Architect (AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize fault-tolerant cloud architectures and microservices across AWS and Microsoft Azure GovCloud and commercial environments.
• Lead end-to-end development of backend services, RESTful APIs, and responsive web interfaces for cyber data visualization.
• Integrate cognitive services, vector databases, large language models, and generative AI into data-processing pipelines.
• Build and maintain high-throughput distributed messaging and data-processing workflows for large cyber datasets.
• Support vulnerability assessments, secure data handling, and custom cybersecurity tooling.
• Implement infrastructure as code, automated testing, and secure CI/CD pipelines while providing technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• 6+ years of progressive professional software engineering experience with production-grade applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or C/C++, together with Bash or PowerShell scripting.
• Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and monitoring cloud-native applications in AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, secure API development, and SQL and NoSQL databases.

Nice to have

• Subsystem architecture leadership or AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Experience with React, Angular, Vue, TypeScript, JavaScript, D3, or Chart.js.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, or Redis.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Experience with network analysis tools, operating-system internals, vulnerability analysis, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure ARM/Bicep.
