Sr Staff Technical Program Manager (Hardware Systems) (AI infrastructure): Driving cross-functional hardware programs from design through production with an accent on integrated scheduling, resource planning, material flow, and supplier coordination. Location: Boston, MA, United States; flexible hybrid workplace model

Salary: $217,000–$252,000 USD base salary for the Sr Staff level. Total compensation also includes equity and other rewards.

What you will do

  • Coordinate all Hardware Systems programs, maintaining integrated schedules, priorities, dependencies, and resource visibility across concurrent workstreams.
  • Facilitate alignment between electrical, mechanical, systems, software, signal integrity, power integrity, supply chain, and external manufacturing teams.
  • Manage hardware development milestones from design and bring-up through NPI, EVT, DVT, PVT, system integration, and production.
  • Coordinate component orders, PCB fabrication, PCBA and mechanical assemblies, engineering samples, tester boards, lab fixtures, calibration equipment, and tooling.
  • Manage program interfaces with contract manufacturers, ODMs, PCB and sheet metal fabricators, and assembly houses.
  • Track budgets, risks, decisions, deliverables, and status updates for engineering leadership and broader company programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of program management experience in hardware engineering, including electrical and mechanical development cycles.
  • Experience managing concurrent engineering programs with shared resources and overlapping timelines.
  • Strong knowledge of PCBA, mechanical enclosures, PCB fabrication, system integration, bring-up, EVT/DVT/PVT, production, material flow, component tracking, and BOM management.
  • Experience coordinating contract manufacturers and ODMs, managing schedules, tracking deliverables, and resolving open issues.
  • Expertise with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms; strong communication and facilitation skills.
