Engineering Project Team Leader (Embedded Software)

Location: Onsite in Mossville, Illinois, five days per week. Relocation assistance may be available. Travel is 10%.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year.

What you will do

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of application software development for a next-generation embedded computing platform.
• Connect software development teams with electronic system integration teams to align features, capabilities, releases, and product launch schedules.
• Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, deliverables, and issue resolution across multiple engineering projects.
• Coordinate with engineering leaders, systems teams, product managers, and program managers.
• Lead requirements analysis, technical troubleshooting, product development, and software integration activities.
• Build effective teams, coach colleagues, and drive execution through influence rather than direct authority.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Solid experience in software engineering, systems engineering, product development, program management, or a related discipline.
• Previous leadership experience managing software programs, technical teams, product launches, or new product introduction activities.
• Experience with embedded software, connected products, industrial automation, automotive, heavy equipment, robotics, or similar technology-driven industries.
• Strong technical acumen, project management expertise, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
