Logistics Operations Coordinator (Air & Ocean Operations) (Logistics): Coordinating international air, ocean, rail, and truck freight movements with an accent on shipment scheduling, terminal coordination, customs documentation, and exception management. Focus on monitoring high-volume shipments, resolving delays and customs holds, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving transit time and logistics cost.
Location: Santa Ana, CA, USA. Work hours: Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, including weekend shifts based on operational requirements.
Compensation: USD 28–31 per hour.

What you will do
- Create daily tracking reports for air export, ocean import, OTR, and weekend operations.
- Coordinate container and air cargo departures with ports, terminals, airports, terminal operators, and customs brokers.
- Track ocean containers, rail intermodal units, and air shipments while validating import documentation and proof of delivery.
- Manage shipment exceptions, including delays, damages, customs holds, cancellations, rollovers, offloads, and rebookings.
- Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, supply chain teams, and customers regarding shipment status, claims, documentation, and escalations.
- Prepare and review air export documentation, monitor compliance, measure KPIs, and improve transit time and logistics costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in logistics coordination, with a strong focus on international air and ocean freight operations.
- Hands-on experience with international air, ocean, and OTR freight forwarding, transload warehouse operations, and truckload dispatch.
- Knowledge of international freight regulations, customs procedures, hazardous materials requirements, and security standards.
- Proficiency with ERP and logistics systems such as SAP, TMS, WMS, or equivalent.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP; English required.
