What you will do

• Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting mission-critical applications.
• Define engineering strategies, roadmaps, delivery plans, modernization initiatives, and technical standards.
• Provide technical leadership across full-stack applications, APIs, microservices, integrations, databases, and cloud-native platforms.
• Lead adoption of Azure, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and Site Reliability Engineering practices.
• Drive responsible adoption of AI, Generative AI, LLMs, agentic workflows, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics.
• Build and develop engineering organizations through coaching, succession planning, hiring, performance management, and stakeholder collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on design and development.
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams and people.
• Experience with full-stack applications, modern web and backend technologies, software architecture, distributed systems, and application modernization.
• Experience with Azure cloud platforms, CI/CD, automation, DevOps, Agile delivery, security, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with Azure App Services, AKS/Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Functions, API Management, Event Hub, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, and monitoring platforms.
• Experience with digital transformation, cloud modernization, SRE, observability, performance engineering, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation.
• Background in financial services, fintech, digital banking, or other highly regulated environments.
• Experience managing multiple product teams, technology investment portfolios, and engineering organizations.
