Controls Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, support, and improve automated manufacturing systems with a focus on robotics and robotic processes.
• Program new and existing equipment using online and offline programming techniques.
• Evaluate and specify hardware and software for automated equipment.
• Standardize robotic and programming solutions, including robot point teaching methods, fixtures, and procedures.
• Research and develop robotic solutions, support equipment launches, and collaborate with engineering and production support teams.
• Identify equipment obsolescence and work with maintenance on spare parts and robotic maintenance needs.

Requirements

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent controls engineering education and experience.
• At least three years of experience designing, programming, or integrating automated equipment and robotic solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment authorization is verified through E-Verify.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and company policies.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
