Customs Brokerage Agent

Location: Noorderlaan, Antwerp, Belgium; ANR/BRU

What you will do

• Ensure smooth and timely import and export customs processes.
• Enter accurate customs data into the operational system and build valid customs declarations.
• Track and trace customs files and prepare reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely client billing.
• Verify customs declaration information and assist with submissions to customs authorities.
• Maintain compliance with applicable customs regulations and operating procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of customs brokerage processes and customs legislation, especially classification, valuation, and origin.
• Experience with Incoterms, including calculation and application.
• Understanding of ocean, road, and air documentation processes.
• Fluent English and Dutch.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, proactive, and computer skills, including MS Excel and MS Word.
• Must be eligible to work in Belgium and hold the necessary work permit.
