Mechanical / Automation Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Full-time onsite in Hebron, Ohio; candidates outside Ohio must be willing to relocate

Salary: $70,000–$75,000 per year

Engineering support for a Japanese manufacturing client focused on manufacturing and automation-related projects.

What you will do

• Support mechanical and automation engineering projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Install, replace, modify, disassemble, and reassemble machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues.
• Support equipment testing, commissioning, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members on the manufacturing floor.
• Follow safety and operational procedures while performing hands-on technical problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related STEM field.
• Recent graduates and candidates with approximately 1–5 years of engineering experience are welcome.
• Strong interest in mechanical systems, machinery, robotics, vehicles, or automation.
• Comfort working in a hands-on manufacturing or factory environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• English proficiency is required; Japanese is not required.

Nice to have

• Internship, co-op, laboratory, manufacturing, university, or other hands-on engineering experience.
• Experience with automotive repair, robotics projects, machine building, engineering competitions, or personal mechanical and electrical projects.
