Maintenance Mechanic & Technician (CNC)

Location: 4930 Kraft Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI, USA. Onsite, third-shift schedule from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Salary: Starting at $30.62 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy wood-processing equipment, including Homag saws, CNC machines, and edge-banding equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance issues and projects that may affect production quality and schedules.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures for machinery and building systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, maintenance records, and project files.
• Support plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other facility systems.
• Maintain facility compliance with local building and fire codes and requisition required parts and supplies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance-related roles involving heavy CNC-style machinery.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to use and troubleshoot hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and blueprints and follow required PPE procedures.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, access awkward spaces, and lift or move materials as required.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, lifting, standing, and reaching.
