Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Miamisburg, Ohio, USA; onsite at the manufacturing site. 2nd shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical malfunctions across production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot failures and replace defective components using technical drawings, diagrams, manuals, testing instruments, and precision tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance, machine positioning, repair adjustments, cleaning, lubrication, and inspections.
• Install functional and structural parts and prepare new machines for operation.
• Repair and maintain pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, and other shop equipment under OSHA regulations.
• Support production by keeping manufacturing equipment operating reliably and minimizing downtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in a mechanical repair environment, supported by applied education and/or an apprenticeship.
• Working knowledge of shop mathematics and strong mechanical, technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proficiency setting up and operating mills, drills, lathes, grinders, and surface grinders.
• Ability to work onsite at the Miamisburg facility, work at heights of 12–15 feet on a manlift, and work mandatory and voluntary overtime.
