Salary: $75,000–$95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skills.

What you will do

  • Coordinate and implement environmental investigations, including Preliminary Assessments, Site Inspections, and Remedial Investigations.
  • Perform site visits, field observations, and data collection for RCRA, CERCLA, and state environmental cleanup programs.
  • Direct sampling of groundwater, soil, and other environmental media by field staff.
  • Plan investigations, interpret data, identify data gaps, and recommend changes to investigative approaches.
  • Supervise subcontractors and field personnel conducting geophysical surveys, direct-push and drilling investigations, and environmental remediation.
  • Prepare reports, maps, drawings, tables, and visual aids; coordinate with federal, municipal, and private-sector clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience performing environmental investigations and leading field efforts.
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to travel, and ability to obtain security clearance at federal installations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS.
  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to follow company safety rules and OSHA regulations.

Nice to have

  • Professional Geologist registration or the ability to obtain it within one year.
