Civil Engineer (Site Design)

Salary: $80,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare site civil drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Assist with grading, drainage, and utility design for infrastructure and site development projects.
• Develop plan sets, profiles, and technical details for public works projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and municipal stakeholders to maintain design quality and project milestones.
• Work under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer while developing technical and professional skills.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Three or more years of experience in site civil design; relevant internship experience may be considered.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of site civil design principles, including grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Ability to work on site in Mineola, New York.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• EIT certification.
• Experience with local permitting and municipal standards, particularly NYC and NYS agency requirements.
