Lead IT Business Analyst (Customer Information Systems)

Location: Columbus, Ohio; hybrid work with on-location attendance Tuesday through Thursday

Salary: $113,500–$170,300 annually, plus a 10% annual bonus

What you will do

• Define, document, review, and approve business requirements, functional specifications, and process documentation for customer information systems transformation initiatives.
• Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle and maintain traceability from requirements through testing and deployment.
• Review solution designs and oversee RICEFW deliverables, functional and technical designs, testing artifacts, and related workstream documentation.
• Coordinate business validation, User Acceptance Testing, defect triage, production readiness reviews, and defect resolution.
• Track workstream status, dependencies, risks, and issues while maintaining RAID logs with project managers.
• Act as a liaison between business leaders, subject matter experts, IT teams, vendors, and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of progressive IT Business Analysis experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading Business Analysts or complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives.
• Experience supporting large-scale business and technology transformation programs.
• Advanced skills in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, stakeholder facilitation, and translating business needs into actionable requirements.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Utility industry or Customer Information System implementation experience.
• SAP IS-U, SAP S/4HANA, or a similar enterprise platform background.
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, or equivalent certification.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and system integrators.
