What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate product improvements and new product releases with other engineering functions.
• Lead the use of design for excellence principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate test results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Identify root causes and corrective actions for assembly and system-testing issues, perform Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of experience.
• Conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday problem-solving.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools and perform physical activities including standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to work in a clean-room environment and use required personal protective equipment.
