Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Merrimack, New Hampshire, United States; domestic travel of 10–20% required.

Base salary: $112,000–$140,000 per year, plus potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Bridge product design and production to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet specifications.
• Develop and document manufacturing processes, process flows, and work instructions from prototype through production.
• Design production cell layouts, fixtures, and tooling using lean principles.
• Conduct timing studies, identify bottlenecks, and optimize line performance.
• Specify and source manufacturing equipment while building preventive maintenance plans.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, Lean 2P/3P events, Value Stream Analyses, and Design for Manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, mechanical, or a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong analytical skills, including statistics, advanced algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools, preferably SolidWorks, and strong Excel skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills for technical and business documentation.
• Ability to solve complex, novel problems with creativity and sound judgment; willingness to travel domestically 10–20%.

• Machine design and problem-solving experience.
• ERP familiarity, such as Syteline.
