Manufacturing Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: New Kensington, Pennsylvania, United States. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals lawfully admitted to the U.S. as refugees or granted asylum.

Salary: $75,000–$120,000 annual salary, plus annual bonus and long-term incentive plan participation.

What you will do

• Identify production requirements from customer, regulatory, industry, and internal sources.
• Provide Design for Manufacturability feedback on customer designs.
• Develop production processes that meet safety, quality, cost, manufacturability, delivery, and customer value requirements.
• Measure production efficiency and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and define Root Cause Corrective Actions for production non-conformances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.
• Five to ten years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace, medical, nuclear, or other controlled industries.
• Understanding of GD&T, Lean Manufacturing, risk identification and analysis, and Theory of Constraints.
• Familiarity with CNC machining, assembly, and composites or metallics fabrication.
• Must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• 3D modeling experience with SolidWorks.
• Formal problem-solving experience.
