Senior Systems Engineer (AWACS)

Location: Hybrid position at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma

What you will do

• Support AWACS modernization programs for E-3/E-7 platforms and future airborne command-and-control capabilities.
• Prepare and review system and subsystem requirements, technical documentation, engineering analyses, and architecture materials.
• Conduct system capability evaluations, performance analyses, validations, trade studies, and technical reviews.
• Manage technical baselines, configuration data, interfaces, risks, requirements, and engineering process documentation.
• Support modeling and simulation, analyses of alternatives, systems engineering plans, acquisition, integration, sustainment, deployment, and operations activities.
• Collaborate with government personnel, military members, engineering teams, and defense contractors while presenting technical recommendations and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of relevant experience, including at least five years in the Department of Defense, or 15 years of directly related experience, including at least eight years in the Department of Defense.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• Experience with systems engineering processes, requirements analysis, architecture design, integration, verification, validation, configuration management, and technical planning.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in briefings, presentations, technical reports, and stakeholder discussions.
