Team Leader (Assembly) - 1st Shift

Location: Brillion, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 1st shift

Salary: Starting at $26.00 per hour; $4,000 sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Lead assembly team members and support daily production goals.
• Create, maintain, audit, and improve standard work.
• Monitor cycle time against takt time and assist on the production line when needed.
• Train new employees, transfers, and cross-trained team members.
• Cover team member absences and vacations.
• Identify waste and solve root-cause issues affecting production, safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Understanding of standard work, time observations, takt time, production charts, standard work combination sheets, and spaghetti diagrams.
• Understanding of the five key measures and the hirify.global standardized problem-solving process.
• Training and communication skills, basic computer skills, and understanding of Lean and 6S.
• Training in TWI and willingness to become torque certified; training is provided.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Previous leadership experience.
• Additional education in Lean, leadership, or manufacturing.
