NPC Engineering Technician II (T2) 2nd Shift

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $21.50–$29.20 per hour

What you will do

• Design, test, assemble, fabricate, modify, and troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical systems, prototype models, circuitry, specialized test equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Diagnose system-level and component-level issues in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process systems with minimal supervision.
• Perform complex NPI installations, field upgrades, platform testing, and manufacturing process support.
• Investigate issues, compile data, document findings, and recommend changes to improve product performance.
• Write and revise technical reports, test procedures, logbooks, and other engineering documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineering technicians and support quality leadership activities.

Requirements

• Advanced specialized expertise in an analytical or scientific technical area.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.
• Ability to solve complex problems using technical knowledge, judgment, and limited documentation.
• Effective written, verbal, interpersonal, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety, security, operating, and protective-equipment procedures.
• Must work onsite in Austin, Texas, on the 2nd shift.
