Senior Director, Enterprise Compliance (Healthcare)

Location: Fully remote, open only to candidates who reside in Dallas, Texas, United States. Future work models may potentially involve hybrid presence at the hub office associated with the candidate's metro area.

Salary: $196,733–$258,212 per year, plus employee benefits, equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead the execution and continuous improvement of the enterprise compliance program, including strategy, work plans, risk assessments, policy governance, regulatory change management, monitoring, auditing, and reporting.
• Translate compliance priorities into operating plans, establish governance and accountability, allocate resources, and develop compliance managers and team members.
• Anticipate healthcare regulatory developments and advise senior leaders on their impact on products, market participation, business strategy, and operations.
• Oversee compliance investigations, hotline reporting, the Special Investigations Unit, fraud-prevention activities, corrective actions, and remediation.
• Partner with Legal, Privacy, Security, Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk, Clinical, Product, Operations, and People teams to embed compliance requirements into business processes.
• Lead compliance education, communications, executive and board reporting, regulatory examinations, and interactions with regulators and external auditors.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, legal compliance, audit, or enterprise risk management.
• 5+ years leading high-performing compliance teams and enterprise-wide compliance initiatives.
• Experience designing and maintaining healthcare compliance programs aligned with OIG Compliance Program Guidance and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Experience supporting highly regulated healthcare organizations, including health plans, managed care organizations, healthcare technology companies, or provider organizations.
• Experience with regulatory developments, compliance investigations, monitoring and auditing, risk assessments, corrective action planning, and policy governance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to executives, governance committees, regulators, or external auditors.

Nice to have

• Experience with Marketplace and other government or commercial health-plan products.
• Experience in a technology-enabled, rapidly scaling, or operationally complex healthcare organization.
• Experience using data, technology, and automation to improve compliance monitoring and reporting.
• Healthcare compliance certification such as CHC, CHPC, CCEP, or comparable certification.
• JD, master's degree, or other relevant advanced education.
