Middle Office Analyst (Macro Trading)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Monitor and resolve daily position, trade, and cash discrepancies with external counterparties.
• Reconcile position, cash, and PnL breaks with internal and external stakeholders.
• Improve middle office workflows and document complex processes into operational guidelines.
• Onboard new trading activity into existing technology platforms.
• Research and process corporate actions across markets.
• Maintain and update commission structures and support effective book management.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant financial markets industry experience, preferably supporting a macro trading desk.
• Experience with Python, UNIX operating systems, Linux, SQL, and relational databases.
• Strong debugging, analysis, and troubleshooting skills under pressure.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from mistakes.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of derivatives, futures, fixed income, or rates products.
• Familiarity with CTM, ICELink, Markitwire, or Repo Match.
