Trade Operations Associate (Algorithmic Trading)

Location: Singapore; hybrid working opportunities are available. The role follows an early morning schedule aligned with relevant market hours.

What you will do

• Operate and supervise automated trading strategies in close collaboration with quantitative traders and software developers.
• Monitor production trading for risk, compliance issues, unusual behavior, and changing market conditions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting day-to-day trading activities.
• Develop Python scripts and applications to automate and improve trading systems.
• Analyze production trades and market data to identify opportunities for improving trading strategies.

Requirements

• Experience in trade monitoring, trading, or trade support is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including investigating issues and drawing actionable conclusions.
• Good understanding of futures markets, trading venues, market structure, risk management, and algorithmic trading technology.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments and monitoring applications.
• Experience with Python and a bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics.
• Fluent English and availability for an early morning schedule are required.
