Electrical Engineer

Location: Wilton, Connecticut, United States. The position is onsite and allows remote work up to two days per week; occasional domestic or international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Specify, design, develop, integrate, and test electrical modules and tools.
• Lead multiple complex designs end-to-end and manage cross-functional dependencies.
• Design analog and digital circuits, PCBs, power distribution, safety circuits, PLC systems, cables, harnesses, racks, cabinets, and consoles.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot systems from the system level to individual components.
• Plan and execute component, sub-module, module, and system-level verification and validation.
• Manage requirements, interfaces, technical specifications, risks, schedules, documentation, and release-readiness evidence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; a master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with electrical solution development, requirements traceability, interface alignment, integration, and verification and validation.
• Knowledge of E-CAD tools, preferably Mentor Graphics xDX/xPCB Designer, and circuit simulation tools such as PSpice.
• Experience with electronic laboratory equipment, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Python.
• Must be legally authorized to access United States-controlled technology before starting work.
