Core Network Engineer (Telecom)

Location: Remote, open to candidates across supported locations in Europe

Salary: €37,600–€86,160 annually depending on the local market and country.

What you will do

• Design IP infrastructure for multi-site data centers, GRX/IPX interconnectivity, global PoP access, and WAN strategy.
• Lead the implementation and configuration of data-center LAN and WAN networks, including DRAs, GTPs, GGSN/PGW, SBCs, firewalls, and routers.
• Integrate direct and sponsored roaming agreements and trace signaling and user-plane transport to debug network issues.
• Optimize and enhance the core network, supporting deployments, rollouts, and performance improvements.
• Act as the primary interface between the Core Network, Platform, Network Operations, vendors, and roaming partners.
• Provide technical training and support to partner operations teams.

Requirements

• Technical degree in engineering or telecommunications, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the telecom core network field.
• At least 3 years of experience with packet gateways, GGSN/PGW/DPI, direct and sponsored roaming, HLR/HSS, Diameter routing, GTP, and GRX.
• At least 3 years of experience with MAP, CAP, Diameter interfaces including Ro, Gx, Gy, Gn, and Gi, REST APIs, and BGP.
• Comfortable communicating in English in meetings and asynchronously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• IREG testing experience.
