Senior AI Software Engineer

What you will do

• Build PlacerX, an internal AI agentic and context platform that automates work across the organization.
• Design and orchestrate agents that combine reasoning, tool calls, decision-making, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Build and deploy MCP servers, Cowork plugins, Claude skills, SaaS integrations, and connectors for internal tools.
• Develop secure OAuth, credential management, identity, encryption, access-control, and compliance infrastructure.
• Own the Databricks internal BI environment, including data restructuring, ingestion pipelines, and AI-ready data foundations.
• Track AI usage, optimize platform compute and storage costs, and establish production standards for connectors.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Experience with MCP servers, LLM tool use, or AI agent frameworks.
• Experience in data engineering or analytics tooling.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, credential management, and Google Cloud authentication patterns.
• Experience deploying services to Kubernetes or equivalent container infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills and comfort translating business requests into engineering requirements while navigating competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Databricks or similar data warehouse/data lake platforms.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools and generative AI in professional or personal workflows.
