Maintenance Technician II - 2nd Shift (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Sanford, North Carolina, United States; onsite at a manufacturing facility. Second shift: Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM–10:15 PM, with overtime and occasional weekend, holiday, and plant shutdown support as needed.

Salary: $29.38 per hour for second shift, including an 8% shift premium. Summary pay range: $27.20–$33.95 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on process and production equipment through the computerized maintenance management system.
• Respond to work orders, provide service feedback, and ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Perform reparative maintenance and troubleshoot manufacturing machine components.
• Assist with electrical installations and repairs using appropriate tools, materials, and safety practices.
• Follow job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout, PPE, and other safety procedures while completing assigned work.
• Support installations and maintenance activities during overtime, weekends, holidays, and plant shutdowns.

Requirements

• At least two years of cumulative industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility and/or a relevant industry certification.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and equipment diagrams.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and install manufacturing machine components.
• Experience using CMMS and common maintenance tools, including tools for carpentry, plumbing, and assembly.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 35 pounds, work at heights up to 30 feet, and work in changing temperatures while standing, walking, squatting, and bending.
• Successful completion of an online assessment, interview, background check, drug screen, and medical review is required.
