Director, Product Owner (CMC)

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, United States. Hybrid 70/30 work model with 70% in-office collaboration. Due to U.S. export-control requirements, only U.S. persons are eligible.

Salary: $167,000–$300,700 per year, with potential bonus, incentive compensation, or equity.

What you will do

• Lead integrated product lifecycle management, commercialization, launch planning, regulatory changes, transfers, variations, and discontinuations for mFLUSIVA, mCOMBRIAX, and mRESVIA.
• Establish cross-functional CMC lifecycle and launch governance, including stage gates, readiness criteria, launch coordination, and integration with long-range planning and supply operations.
• Define product value-chain strategies, roadmaps, SKU configurations, launch sequencing, delivery models, performance metrics, and improvement priorities.
• Drive supply-chain and manufacturing-network strategy, including multi-site production, capacity flexibility, network resilience, disruption scenarios, and product-ownership flows.
• Manage post-launch performance, lifecycle risks, KPIs, regulatory variations, global expansion readiness, artwork, labeling, packaging, serialization, master data, and supply readiness.
• Represent the CMC/Product Team in enterprise forums and lead communication, decision-making, financial planning, and continuous improvement across CMC, Commercial, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries, focused on Supply Chain, CMC Program Management, Value Chain Leadership, or similar areas.
• Experience in CMC commercialization and understanding of value creation in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, align supply-chain strategy with business goals, analyze operational data, and communicate strategic decisions clearly.
• Must qualify as a U.S. person under U.S. export-control laws; non-U.S. persons are not eligible for this position.
