Associate Director, Product Management Operations (Genomics)

Location: Colorado-based, with Boulder preferred; open to remote within the United States

Base compensation: $140,000–$160,000 annually, plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Product Management Operations team.
• Improve product management processes, tools, systems, metrics, and operating practices.
• Lead product and portfolio analytics across commercial, operational, financial, and quality data.
• Support demand planning, forecasting, pricing analytics, portfolio reviews, and product health monitoring.
• Oversee operational processes for custom products and coordinate activities across the product lifecycle.
• Represent Product Management in cross-functional data, systems, process, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in product management, product operations, portfolio operations, commercial operations, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of direct people management or equivalent functional leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with product lifecycle management, demand planning, forecasting, pricing analytics, business planning, and portfolio operations.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with ERP systems, Power BI, Salesforce, and related analytical tools.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MS or MBA.
• Experience in biotech, life sciences, genomics, molecular diagnostics, or another technically complex and quality-driven product environment.
